I made it a multiple choice because only losers are going to choose everyone. So that will have higher numbers thus more accurate results.
This is because some people believe that some drummers are very equal while others may disagree.

I voted for all because you didn't say I couldn't.

I'd say among the best metal drummers, you've got anyone from Vinnie Paul from Pantera and Nicholas Barker from several bands.

Travis Barker though? Seriously? Blink 182. 'Nuff said.

I really like the drummer of Tool.
Also the drummer in Hella (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdMDcG3zAEI) is amazing.

Inability to spell Bonham gives you a -20 forumfall score.

Seriously, in the other thread the guy couldn't spell Page, and you can't spell Bonham. What do you guys have against Zeppelin?

Neil Peart is whom I selected first. Easily the best on that list. His technical skill at playing drums is amazing to say the least. Der Trommler - drum solo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NuOTkrEVeb4)

I'm an atheist.

Neil Peart is the closest thing to a god I'll ever have.

OP should have included what freaken band they play in, because the only name on that list that I recognize is Lars Ulrich, and he WAS good for a WHILE until Metallica fucked themselves in the ass.

Ammon777

And the most skilled drummer ever born is Hellhammer of Mayhem. And the guy that comes in a very close second place is the Satyricon drummer, Frost.

edit -- oh wait, this is about rock, not metal... Well, I would say none of them, because I havent heard anyone except Lars Ulrich, and his style sucks nowadays, so he doesnt count.

Therefore I didnt even vote.

Speaking of Travis Barker, he almost died in a plane crash and is still in critical condition.

How do you feel about Hellhammer in comparison to Nicholas Barker? I mentioned him earlier.

I mean, Nicholas Barker is pretty damn technical and precise. Hellhammer has the endurance of a stone golem, though...

You got a couple of dooshers I never heard of but no Alex Van Halen, Niko McBrain or Scott Travis?

Poll is fucked IMO.

Sorry but... what band is Nicholas Barker in? I know a million bands because I have listened to just about everything but I dont really know very many individual band members names.

edit -- Oh wait, this is the internet, so I googled...

I like him, Nicholas Barker is a really good drummer, but I must say that Hellhammer and Frost are still better. Hellhammer has 6 arms of blur. And Frost has way better endurance than Hellhammer, while Hellhammer has superior skill and originality. Frost can drum so damn long and so fast that I daresay he matches a freaken drum machine, if not better.

Listen to Nicholas Barker with some of the stuff he did with Old Man's Child. Impressive stuff. CoF underutilized him when they had him, though Dimmu had him doing some decent sounding stuff.

I hear he was great with Brujeria, but I haven't personally heard anything from them with his drumming.

Hes a good drummer, i m just disappointed with the whole black-death-scene.
I have a few old man's mp3s but i dont like that that style any more .

I voted Neil Peart cause Rush is awesome, and he is THE best drummer. But I think Vinnie Paul should be up there too.
