No, you jump off after the bottle to see if there is any beer left in it.

Nope. And I can promise you I've been to more Tool, NIN, Type O, Korn, and Danzig concerts you can even imagine. SO don't try the "I must be an old man" line.

Didn't look like he was going after the bottle to me. Looked like he was going to ass rape the son of a bitch that threw it.

LOL, I don't have anything against him, but whenever was he intimidating or brutal? He didn't pump himself up with a song, he did a sucker punch.

I think you have a fairly broad description of a sucker punch. At the very least it was a sucker double boot to the face.
Also don't see what you mean about intimidating and brutal. Does a guy need to give you nightmares to be cool?
Drunkenork

I said nothing about being cool. I was just stating that sucker punching a guy is no way hardcore.

But taking a bottle to the face and not doing anything about it is? He told the guy to get up on the stage and he didn't. Obviously he had to do something about it, and the guy wasn't coming up there, so he had to go down there.

I remember a post on here a while ago about some rap artist grabbing a troublemaking kid from the public and throwing him off stage. Your point is moot.

The video doesn't actually show him kicking anyone's ass. all he does is talk loud and then jump onto the guy, for all we know the guy kicked his ass.

I think that bad assness is undone by the rapper that got pepper sprayed and went to the hospital because of it.

So you think he managed to pull off a victory after getting a flying double boot to the face?

Yeah, but that doesn't change that Bach had to do something. Since the bottle guy wasn't coming to him he had to come to the bottle guy.

sebastian bach was probably too skinny to really do any damage down there.
Linked to that one though you see Henry Rollins just whaling away on some toolbox who poked at him. That looked like one of Black Flag's earlier basement shows right after he joined. Punk/hardcore bands were waaaaaay harder than 80s hair metal outfits like Skid Row... hell Johnny Rotten used to break bottles over his OWN head that people would throw at him

How was that a sucker punch? The receiver had to be pretty slow not to see it coming, considering he jumped off the stage and ran towards him.

Doesn't seem like he's actually jumping at the guy he's attacking, but I might be wrong. Regardless, that's hardly sucker punching. Unless your definition of punching is "jumping at someone".

Talking shit, telling the guy to come up stange while knowing and watching the stage guards hold him off, then start doing a song and walk around like you are going to do nothing, then as he is backed off, jump at him? Ya, I call that a sucker punch. :ninja:

You guys probably only heard "I Remember You" or "18 And Life" and thought that was all Skid Row was about.
"Slave To The Grind" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YSKIbWDqS8) is fucking metal as hell, no hair needed.

Yes, I loved Slave to the Grind. That was some heavy shit, but after that they toned it down back to first album levels. Which was lame. They completely fizzled out on their 4th album.
