I think the IGN team for the most part got things right. Of course they probably don't have the same vision for pvp in the game as most of us do but still. All I know is if they go the Warhammer model for pvp I'm gonna be raging. Of course the spore thing was just a joke.

as long as its consentual. However Funcom failed to deliver on bewbs maybe we can get green and blue alien boobs in game.

Problem with a KOTOR MMO is everyone WILL be a Jedi unless Jedi are shit or not available. I'd play it if I didn't know it was going to be shit.

I guess it's not just me with this kind of fear then, I hope this game is a good alternative to other MMOs, maybe even an alternative for some Darkfall players.

We all know that no other game will ever replace Darkfall once it actually goes gold.

IMO if the KOTOR MMO is to succeed they would have to not let anyone be jedis. People seem to play these types of games and expect to be a jedi. In the real star wars universe not everyone is a jedi. Barely anyone is, actually.

They could just make it incredibly difficult to become a jedi. They could make it so Jedi have perma death or something. I know saying that was taboo in SWG forums, but I always thought Jedi should be permanently killed when they die. Of course they would have to be extremely powerful to balance it out.

Make it super hard to become a jedi, and there can only be a limited number of jedi at once(a small number too, like 20-30 per server). And if a jedi dies, perma-death.

They kinda tried that already with SWG. The temptation to go to the dark side was too strong, and they made jedi available to everyone.

I'm hoping bioware isn't that stupid. They make such great role playing games, I'm sure they would realize that it would ruin the story/lore of starwars if they changed that. Being a role playing game company, they should know the importance of the story in a game.
