Greetings everyone, I have just been released from my suspension and have come to bear thine fruits of my waiting.

First, be jealous of this cheap but awesome build.
https://secure.newegg.com/WishList/MySavedWishDetail.aspx?ID=8856452

Second, my member number is 58775 and I joined ~3 months before the beta announcement/video. I would say that anyone <60k joined before the announcements. Just something to think about.

Third, watch this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ks6ubQzfasQ

Fourth, somebody necro my fantastic contraption thread.

Fifth, Honor thy father and thy mother.

Sixth, befriend Titanic Ant and send him a lot of homosexual messages. Be sure to tell him I told you to though, he will know what it means.

Good morrow

I think that PC is damn awesome for the price, including SupCom and Windows even! In fact I'd say that's about the best foundation I could link to anyone wanting to build a $600-700 gaming PC posted on this forum ever. People could bitch about a few things, I guess, but it's still a great starting point.

Numbers mean nothing. It's the name that matters. If somebody's name does not start with either G, S, E, G, H, O, L or W doesn't matter on forumfall.

Lets say that the people beneath the 40k that don't know shit about the game make room for members above the 40k that actually know something about DF.

The closer to 0 one's user account is, the closer to perfection and sublime happiness they are. True fact.

With this in mind, I personally consider anybody with an account number greater than 10k to be distinctly subhuman, on the level of a chimpanzee or orangutang. This means the only actual human beings posting in this thread are Surly, Drunkenorc, and myself. Pip pip and what ho, gentlemen.

Teth, let it be known that I have found a flaw in your post. I know, it is shocking. I must admit that I didn't quite believe it myself. I almost began crying, but whether with joy or sadness I do not know. For a moment, however, I am sure that the sky opened up and a bright ray of heavenly light filled my humble room with the sound of a choir of angels, all singing out their praises.

Without further ado:

You spelled orangutan wrong.

:lmao:

Of course you tell yourself that. No sir, the cut is from the days when the devs still walked the earth amongst us; when Claus and Kjetil would casually post in forum threads. The true cutoff is when they entered their self-imposed isolation around the beginning of 2004; this probably coincides more with user 7000 - 8000 than even 10000. Still, even then the community was somewhat self-righting, and so it was that the line was held adequately against depravity and despair up until late 2005. The clan beta announcement then broke us irrevocably, and since then we have dwelled in grief and quiet desperation garbed in callous elitism, surrounded on all sides as we are by what can only be described as herpaderpderp.

Those who have seen the Light of Valinor simply can't be compared with those who stayed behind and reached their fullness only under starlight and darkness, yo.

tl;dr:figure out who registered after September '05. User IDs above that time = teh failsausage.

To you nubbins there might be a division between this newest wave of beta-graspers and those before it, but to the real veteranii, you're all usurpers & mongrelizers alike.

Regarding the blueness, I resigned. Cue quip from The Prisoner if so inclined.

As for spelling errors, they do happen from time to time.

Forumfall was fucking awesome back in the day. In fact, it was so awesome, it was called Darkfall Discussion Online. Forumfall as you know it barely existed back then, content as we were in the gentle, radiant warmth of the devs to talk about Darkfall proper.

What good is simply talking about the game? Playing it is what the wait is about.

Hopefully the forums will be purged with blood, iron, fire and steel before release. Then there will be no differentiation at all except in the fading memories of the ancients, and all these forum posts will be lost like tears in rain.

And one wonders why 40K+ are so reviled?

And so the Noldor rebel? Refusing to gift the Light of Valinor back to world, and darkness ensues?

And you argue that 10K+ are sub-human. There are those almost double that number that are not so selfish and proud.
