To Salaman - Comparing being physically disabled and not being able to write your native language dosen't work. Being disabled isn't a choice, being a 1337sp33k3r is.

Titus - Contractions aren't incorrect grammar, and not putting an and after a comma is allowed. However, you got me on the other points, see, even I can mess up. Vagueness isn't necessarily incorrect grammar, however it is poor expression, while contractions are slip-shod English and therefore not proper by any means; and neither of the two could be called "impeccable". Those commas are necessary in proper grammar, although they are often left out in colloquial English.

Which brings me to my point, which is simply that colloquial English is just fine, and even e-English is all right. The reason foreigners and polyglots speak perfect English is because they have only learned formal English.

The edits were actually to determine what I was going to say after my corrections, iirc. Your errors were numerous and glaring, particularly given the content of the actual text.

I dont know, english is probably my 2nd language out of 6, but i seem to have a better command of it than most Native english speakers i have met.

Seriously though, writing in l337 speak does not denote that one lacks the ability or talent to speak English reasonably correctly, but it does reflect laziness. Why shouldn't he be a little pissed off and ask for a little more? I'd love for more Americans to step up their game a bit and at least try to use a reasonable approximation of the engrish language.
