It saddens me because RP is the best choice for Pres. He is a political scholar, meaning he is constantly reading and staying informed, rather than waiting for someone else to whisper in his ear and he writes a lot of legislation.

I do not see Palin as a traitor. I think she is still a hige RP fan, but has taken advantage of McCain's invite to Washington.

Hopefully she will stay in touch with RP and when the time comes, maybe we will see a Palin/Paul ticket, or at least RP as an adviser or cabinet member.
