How many people this game is planning to have ?
Are they targetting 50K 100K 200K ppl or more ?
How many servers ? Population by servers ?

I've heard that this project was 8 years in preparation. But finaly is it planned to be a Free to play MMO or will it contains a monthly subscription ?

I'm asking all that things because, i'm a MMO player (actually AoC) and i've never been aware of that game before.

Darkfall will not be free to play. There will be a monthly subscription, but the amount is unknown at this this time.

With Any good MMO or online game they will not be free to play. Most likely it will be a monthly subscription since you can cancel or stop within a good time period. As for the population, Im hoping it will be a very high amount since this game will be a sandbox. Ive heard that it will be only 1 server but I don't know if I'm correct so If you get 50k+ it depends on how big the "world" map is and if it is able to support that many building and people.

Based on the amount of forum users DFO has, I'd say they could get nearly a million.

yeah but most of the forumfallers are people that subscribed and forgot about the game all over again... maybe 1/4 of the forumfallers will actually play.

100,000 per server and 10,000 simultaneously? Around when I was playing eve online there were about 100,000 subscribers and on a regular day there would be 25,000-35,000 people online.

10k at once is about 50k total users by comparison with EVE. Regardless, I do think they'll wind up with 3-5 total servers.

Anyway, you've gotten your answer pretty much, though the devs have said the price will be "competitive" with other MMOs, so expect it to be $12 to $15 a month.
