What are the chances of a simultaneous release in all regions. Is it more likely that the game will release in Europe first, followed up by releases in North America and Asia? I'd imagine that it would be more costly to do a worldwide release as opposed to a region by region release. Not to mention a major pain in the ass to launch all regions at the same time.

All that i know of they have said so far is Servers in Europe and N. America at the same time. If any other regions will have servers will be later.

Edit: They are definately having Europe first but trying to have N. America at the same time.

Not worried, per se, just would like to get an equal jump on the game with the Euros... Would hate to see the EU be better at something than the US, if even for a little while. J/K btw, I like Europeans they have the neatest porn outside asia, and the coolest TV commercials.

lol OK. But if you were on a different server altogether, it makes no difference which one starts first right because they are totally separate.

True that... I'm sure there may be exceptions. Few I would think. But if Clan A is dominant on Server 1 in Europe. Clan A is mixed clan (euros & dollars) and decides to move to Server 2 in US when US server opens. Are they going to allow a full transfer? or will they have to start from scratch.

In some other MMOs premium (charged) service will allow someone to transfer characters from one server to the next. So what I'm wondering is if Europe gets a 1 month headstart over a US release (I know they say simultaneous, but how sure are they). Will the people on European servers be able to transfer characters to US servers? In a PVP environment a head start can make a big difference.

Well, just read some stuff from back in July... Seems they are hoping to do Europe and N. America simultaneously, but realistically it looks like Europe is getting it first.
