Not so many ppl actually know that today is the 256th of the year.
And only The Chosen Ones know that 256 is the maximum number u can put into one byte :)

Congratz to the Darkfall Developers, especially programmers with this nice holiday of ours, the Programmer's Day, indeed! :p

Actually that's not true. You can only fit max 255 into 8 bits. That is because 0 counts as a number in binary. You lose, ass.

255 digits (1-255) + 1 more digit (0) = 256 digits total
learn some primary maths =)

If you would say, you can fit 256 numbers into it, you would be correct, however read the OP.

He claims the maximum number you can get in 8 bits is 256. That is wrong. That is a very common misconception. 11111111 is 255.

Math is an exact science, as is computer science. Both of those are my majors. Don't like exact sciences, don't participate in the discussion, however then don't claim you know shit about them.
