Player loot?

One of my favorite MMORPGs is Ultima Online because of the fact that you could find someone hunting, who has been hunting for a while, murder them, and loot everything they have on them.

My question is, is that going to be possible here? When you kill a player, are you going to be able to loot everything they have in their backpack (gold, weapons, armor etc.) and leave a cold, nude corpse in you're wake, or is there some sort of lame item insureance?

Also, I'm not familiar with how the PvP is set up here... Will it take more tactics & talent or will it be mostly an item/skill based deal?

Another little tidbit for you:

Not only is it full loot, but NPC's can loot you also. So in theory...you can watch an NPC kill a player, you loot the player what the NPC doesn't take...kill the NPC and take what he took plus whatever the NPC has on em already.

It's going to be more RL "tactics & talent" and then it's in game skill tree thing.. then it's the gear and items.

So it's going to be up to how good you can actually play the game and not how you have the skill tree set up and what gear and items you have.

And yes.. you can loot any thing off the guy, even quest items. Mobs will also loot people if it gives them something better to use, animals will probably just take your food.

Well, in UO some NPC's looted bodies too. Especially those annoying ratlings (or something) on Baracoon spawn.
