You'd think Mythic would have better sense than to cut a deal with them to host the EU side of Warhammer. Today, Europeans have been waiting for 5 hours + now just to get past the beginning of the registration for open beta process (which, by the way, was supposed to begin an hour after registration). These clowns decided it was a great idea to have beta registration hours before public beta going active. That, combined with shotty Flash for their registration page has caused such a headache that the majority are talking about moving to North American servers and canceling their EU pre-purchase.
Honestly, who in their right minds would try bottle-necking hundreds of thousands of applicants into a 2 hour window of registration before their servers were brought online? Oh, that's right... GOA. .. anyone remember DAoC beta? lolz.

GOA was shit when they did DAoC. Im not surprised at all.
Also, their support was crap and everything. Rember waiting weeks for a email reply and being unable to log in.

Haha!
GOA, ugh. I actually thought they were gonna me making changes this time round, I thought they'd gone streight. Guess I was wrong.
But hey, why do I care? I cancelled my WAR pre-order now I know that Darkfall's on its way.

I mean, come on.. they're French Telecom last I knew... What in the hell did they expect?
"Yes, if we have time after after-lunch break we'll get right on it. If not, you'll have to wait until after our weekly Monday-Wednesday holiday season."
That flash site is horrible.I remember people asking them for over a year to change that piece of shit.
I hated DAoC. After swimming in the balmy waters of Ultima Online it was like jumping into a small, muddy puddle.

Pfff, I'm still trying to register. You know, for a company that is said to have 10 years of experience with MMORPGs, they're surely very slow learners. :bang:

EXACTLY
i remember yelling at people on thier horses, becuase they kept flying by me and not stopping to help me out as i was dying from killing mobs
then somoene tells me that the horses are like taxis, you can't control where you go with them. (i quit 2 days later) LOL. I had a whole month of free play, I stopped playing after 3 days. Wasn't worth it. And wow, i played until my month was up. Done. Those games suck hard. Give me a UO clone anyday. Infact I still play UO on teh free shards.
that's how gay DAOC and wow is in my opinion.
