General
Yesterday, you have reached the city after a very long and exhausting journey. You decided to rest at the nearest inn you could find.
Path of the Thief
The following morning, you wake up with a dagger under your throat. Scared to death you straighten out of bed, and you see a couple of thieves. They must've seen the shiny amulet you were prancing around with. You glance towards the sword laying on your night-table. As quick as an artist of shadows, you leap while dodging their daggerstrikes and you grab the sword. In a few seconds, you have the two thieves facing down.
If you chose option 1 in the previous thread
You decide not to kill them because you made a promise to make a difference.
The moment you turn around you get stabbed in the chest.
Choice: Vote 1 or 2
If you chose option 2 in the previous thread
You brutally murder the 2 thieves. You turn to wipe the blood of your blade and put it in its sheath, but then suddenly a last dieing stroke from one of the thieves strikes you in the chest. After-which, the thief falls dead on the floor.
Choice: Vote 3 or 4
Path of the Murderer
The following morning, you wake up with the ghost of the poor man and the edge of your bed. You jump out of your bed, scared to hell. The poor man makes threating gestures towards you with his razorsharp nails he summoned by magic.
If you chose option 3 in the previous thread
You swing your sword at the ghostly essence. Though ineffective, 'cause it seems you've only hit thin air. The ghost of the poor man comes closer and pushes you on the floor. Soon-after, the man slashes you a couple of times with his razorsharp nails which pierces through your flesh and bones.
Choice: Vote 5 or 6
If you chose option 4 in the previous thread
You put your sword in the floor and you kneel before the ghostly essence. You shout scared, but just: "I'M SORRY!! I accept any vengeful act you may bestow upon me." The ghost of the poor man, doesn't do anything. But whispers in your ear: "You have been forgiven."
When you lift your head, you see a rebel charging at you with his sword.
Choice: 7 or 8
Path of the Hero
If you chose option 5 in the previous thread
The following morning, you wake up and notice a sad girl. She is sitting in the corner of the room. When you confront her with why she is sad, she answers her parents are being held hostage in the other room. You arm yourself with a sword and kick in the door of said room and you enter the chamber. You see 2 persons tied up in the corner, when suddenly, the door flies shut behind you. You turn around and you notice the ghost of the poor man. He says: "Two persons will have to die if you want to leave this room alive. Make your choice, hero."
After saying the last word, his essence disappears.
Choice: 9 or 10
If you chose option 6 in the previous thread
The ghost of the poor man choked you in your sleep, because you didn't have the heart to be a hero.
