More pre-determined?

I've been seeing that almost everything that goes into these cities will be pre-determined. So much for freedom, but meaby that feature will be more advanced after beta.

Now I'm not trying to bog down here but, does that mean the armors we make will also be predetermined with schematics and blueprints like every other mmorpg I've tried to craft in?

Please someone tell me this is not how it is because that just takes like half of the game away that I was expecting. I'll still play, but that really sucks if it's true. Yall see where I am coming from here?

We don't know that buildings are pre-determined, and we certainly don't know that craftng blueprints are either. Speculation = bad.

Wait, what? Are you saying that you expected Darkfall to let you literally draw up your own armour and building designs? Do you realize that by doing that you'd turn this game from being a fantasy MMORPG in to some weird nightmare out of the head of Steven King?

Not saying that, but I expect to at least change the color of my buildings and armor, meaby adjust height, warp some small features. Pick different windows for a building or a different door, color that too, add different coating on the door, choose if its metal or wood.

Just basic stuff so I dont see the same damn city over and over again....

Other than that you could probably see 100 clan cities and never see the same thing because you choose the layout of your city and how buildings are placed(fortification or trade city etc etc.). Who ever said you could personally design the armor? I've never read that anywhere, about any game, ever.

And honestly, it would be cool to be able to do that, but the amount of work going into something like that I don't even want to imagine, not to mention the calculations and resulting lag.
