Whatever they are, I think they are kind of whack. All of a sudden it reminds me of planet side all those years ago. However I also think they could be fun... at least conceptually. I don’t like the idea of siege equipment that drives around like that but if they were more along the lines of just large transport with limited offensive, that might be cool. It also opens the doors for actual caravans with wagons later on. this way people could transport massive amounts of goods (worth raiding and protecting) such as building materials for walls, etc.

It is good to break out of the fantasy box. Take some risk to really innovate the fantasy MMOG genre. Sci-Fi can be very creative. Why can't Darkfall? Labeling these hover tanks warhulks seems like a desperate attempt to assuage the impact these hover tanks will have in the fantasy genre and that is just a step backwards.
