i'm not sure if i'm gettin old , or games are just loosin that special sumthin.

but i haven't had that "OMFG, this i the most awesome shut evber" feeelin since i first played UO in the late 90's.

granted, the only game i ha trully fallin in love with prior is ultima 7 (both parts, but the black gate more so(Hoe of destruction FTW)) so i may be biased. the ring of regents in the 2nd part was pretty fuckin nice though.

so, i think i'm ramblin

Darkfall, to me, feels like the last hope for video gamin

from the time i've gone online in UO there was really no lookin back to single player.

i just can'y find an AI that's anywhere near as terrorfyin as a 13 year old kid with way too much time on his (or her i guess) hands.

i know Darkfall's history. i followed it for about 3 years before i finally joined the forums (to post my opinion in the PC gamer theaf)

i'm probabnly lookin pretty sad right nowe, easy prey for the trolls, but i don't give a fuck.

i got all my chips ridin on Darkfall. if it fails to meet my lowest expectations (havin to join a gild for protection, decent gameplay, FFA pvp, full oot) than i fear i may acutually grow into a snooby adult.

i reALy don't want that. games have been sucj a great prat of my life (i'm 26) up to now, but for the laast 2 years or so ive ben strugglin to find sumthin that really gets me into it.

the only thing recently has been COD4 on the xbox, which i've had to start playin on free accounts (ask me hw if you want to know) with nuthinbut a knife and flash grenades to keep my heart rate up.

now i know i'm ramblin

anways, i'll admit, i've been a healthy amount of skeptical of Dark fall until the devs followed through on thier word with the video (and beta apps as icein on the cake) lasr weeek.

i no3 am a cerified addicted to the forumfall. i check it at leaat 2-3 times a day (which i personally find sad).

i have oo much hope ridin on the release, i know it's not good, but i can't help it.

darkfall is the only thing left that can keep my love for gamin alive.

i know a lot of you forumfalls fallers are pretty fucked up too, so i'm truly just llokin for some consolodation.
