What is everyone's PVE expectations? Do you guys see yourselves going out just searching remote locations for rare, built up creature encampments just to try and kill their "leader" typed named or raid their stash etc....
do you see guilds taking down the demi-gods? how large of guilds, how long of fights? having scouts following demigods would be cool, to call out to your guild if opposing ones actually try to kill it... you could come wipe their entire guild easily by flanking :)
i know this is all speculation, but i've got ideas of my own and would like to add some other ones to my imagination.
p.s. baked, rambling, and wondering
I'm just looking for any type of actual challenge when it comes to PvE. Not the same to-be-expected fights with every single individual MOB. Switch it up, surprise me, act smart.

Three words: AI abuse. I guess most mobs will have some sort of ranged attack though so kiting won't be as effective.
I don't really care what I kill as long as I'm having fun. PvE seems to be getting neglected in MMOs these days and I want to be able to explore and have fun and not have it be tedious and boring.

Anyone have any good links to PvE stuff from the Devs? I have been on this forums for years on and off and I can't remember much info on it lol.

Right off the bat im going down into the sewers to kill giant rats, UO style!
Seriously though I reckon ill spend the first few hours killing one of the easier mobs around town to start learning the combat system and start building up my skills/fortune.
I cant wait for the 5minute old PKers trying to kill ya ^^

all i can think of is their scenario of goblins shooting you with arrows and fireballs and stuff.... then mentioning animal's migrating behavior (anti camping) and mob's spawn mechanics (more after more time, then 'Named' after awhile) and i think i remember something about them even smelling you if the wind's in the wrong direction?
Will mobs aggro no matter what the distance, as long as they have line of site? Would suck to come around a cliff edge to a dragon that's across a canyon who comes and eats ya :P i know it's gonna happen but i wonder if there's going to be a safe distance, or if you just can't be in his territory at all. ohh ya the demi-god type mobs are going to keep a hoard of all of their loot from killed players :) would be a nice incentive for guilds to kill them
