What kinda character are you?

Heya everyone! I'm making this here thread in hopes that I can learn about what kind of characters my fellow role-players are going to be. Chivalric knight? Lovable rogue? Dastardly (drunken) pirate? Anything!

I'm leaning towards a human knight. I plan on participating in PVP, only with cause though. I hope...sorta, to add a little order to all the pleasureable chaos. If I defeat an opponent, I will not refrain from taking his/her stuff. But if they can give me a decent ransom price, then they could keep their stuff. Unless someones carebear, then I take everything and hunt them again with their own gear.

The vast open lands of Agon are both my home and playground. Im ashamed to admit it, but Ive played WoW also. Played on a RP server and actually went to do what I just inted to do in Darkfall. Played a pacifist priest there. Got to level 60 without killing a single living thing AND I was having tons of fun in BGs (PvP) aswell ;)

Remember one time I was "guarding" the flag all alone and a Tauren warrior came in. He spent all his time trying to kill me instead of grabbing the flag while I only did some /emote slap to him. Eventually after something like 2 minutes I got a couple of guys coming and help me out and the poor Tauren died. I laughed the whole time :lmao:

Or that time when I was guarding a flag in that other type of BG and one assassin sneaked up to me and asked why I was only carrying a flower in my hand, he thought I was nuts. But it has its benefits. A healer who aint distracted with dealing damage usually performs better to do what they are supposed to: Heal. Which he later understood when he and me survived a rather bigger group of Hordes trying to take that flag. Then he had no more objections about me only carrying a flower ;)

But, yeah, certainly not an easy route to take, but you learn the ropes and many times become a master of surviving and avoiding danger. Its a typical group character tho. Being alone is not recommended.

Well have played a holy paladin, Elvish hunter, conflicted human knight,a vampire and a typical warrior. Though i am not sure as of what path to follow here. The dark knight or death knight type of thing sounds interesting. I am doing the "good guy" rp thing currently on Lotro but a return to darkness may feel like home. not sure yet will need to play the game and see what is possible. Though i wouldnt mind returning to Vampire rp if the system could support it,but im always up for something new.

all mage clans probly wont succeed. you need more than just players who are devotred to magic. Magic wont kill a mele user when hes close, ur spells take time.

I plan to craft some of the best ghost claws out there,be lightly armoured and highly mobile. I played too much thief deadly shadows and hitman not to be subtle motherfucker and as a result i will utilize sleight of hand often (pickpocketing); will use a crossbow as ranged (unless they have decent thrown weapons) and will use chants and probably some alchemy as well

just love the concept of the mahirim mount stance would hate having my mount killed out from under me and think it'd be a whole hell of alot easier to sneak up on someone with the lower profile

i've narrowed it down to 2 options

1. Dwarf tank with magic for pvp (hammer/axe shield) Magic: Fire
2. Human tank with magic for pvp (sword shield) Magic: good against dark stuff

Both: knockback spells and riding if it requires a skill


This way i can do be all around in pvp :)

Well, im planning on making my character very complex. So what I have in mind is a Mirdain raised Alfar, who is torn between the evil of his race, and the good he was raised by, but I have a feeling it wont be easy.

My DarkFall character will be neutral evil--likely an Alfar, but my heart is not set on it. I like roleplay because it makes the game "real" for me. I was hoping for a Saintly Knight. Definitely RP, no way around that. I'm going to be that guy you usually see, when all the guys are riding on flaming horses and giant tigers, he's clunking along in his heavy iron armor to aid in the attack. He takes the enemies attention for two seconds, but anything he does helps the effort.
I want to be a beacon of hope for all those people in despair. A strong adherence to belief is my backbone, and a strong sense of justice keeps my head on my shoulders. My character will be on the side of good, just won't always follow orders, but instead do what he thinks is right, not just what he is told is right. He(I) will always have my teammates backs though.
