http://www.electoral-vote.com/evp2008/Info/experience.html

Pretty interesting graphs and info. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of correlation between previous experience and being a good president.

Good info for Obama and Palin supports alike.

The only vague trend that seems to be apparent is that those with executive decision making experience (which I'll define as governer and general experience) seemed slightly more likely to be in the upper 50% than those without.

Lincoln is the worst president in US history. Name one other who caused a civil war.

FDR is responsible for the modern welfare state. No thanks.

#6 Woodrow Wilson was a fascist. He had secret police and propaganda ministries that Hitler could only envy.

Depends on your definitions, any kind of ranking system that puts Lincoln at the top is ridiculous. There's a great deal of people who think he's the worst president to ever exist, myself included, so I'd think that should balance out by putting him somewhere in the middle.

That pretty much disqualifies you from posting for the rest of this thread. Idiot.

Let me guess fucktard. You love Abe because he "freed teh slaves!!"

Here's some news for you. He intended to send all the 'darkies' back to Africa where they could upgrade the region they came from. He didn't want them here.

He openly said he would leave them in chains if it would undo the civil war and restore the Union.

Stop being a brain dead retard and think for yourself.

Why is Teddy Roosevelt in 5th? This thread is a horrible failure.

Also, Lincoln never really intended to free the slaves, not until the South decided to secede. He really freed them out of spite.

Jimmy Carter rank 28.5,..

Ulysses S. Grant ranked 37.

Ranking is full of fail.

You kids need to go back to history class. He freed the slaves or France might have come in on the side of the south. By freeing them he made it impossible for France to do so because it would look like they were supporting slavery.

Go back to school.

Apparently you were lucky enough to have a history teacher who was not the football coach.
