I just want to start off that this is not a rant or ragging on any of the employee's currently working on Darkfall.
PLEASE! Do not release this game until the bugs are to the possible minimal and the game play is smooth. Failcom ruined my MMO experience for a upcoming game that made me really want to play it... Failcom promised its users all of this glorious content and balance.. /fart
I know you guys over there promised that it will be balanced and fun because I do know where you are coming from with this game, but please, don't release this game until you feel your customers will enjoy the game to what you want it to be at the start.
I have played MMO games when they were released so I do understand that there will always be bugs/exploints/things will break but please... dont fail like failcom... alot of people are looking at this game at a MMO haven for years to come, So do I. Therefore, good luck finishing up this game and I hope to see it polished and smoothed out in the months to come. Furthermore, I only hear good things about this game but, I just wanted to throw my opinion in there.
P.S sorry for this being so long :bang:

It's my gut feeling that this particular group of guys making this game don't follow the current trend of making MMO's.
It's been 7 years and they have been beta testing for a while in house.
I have a very strong sneaky suspicion that this game will be one of the most polished releases we have ever seen based on quite a few reasons.
Now that i have said that.....*looks around for a gigantic piece of wood to knock on*

And here I thought this was a plea to the gods for a smooth release. I even went and sacrificed my last goat too.

Sorry was trying to be funny...-1:bang:
Lol, yeah i doubt that the devs will fail at release, the onyl thing i could see is lack of support/patches, based on prior experiance with updates.

The developers realized that having an early / buggy / incomplete game would be the path of failure. Which is why they've spent so long in testing and development - the beta we see will practically be a finished game with release following soon after.

Nothing, good old typed chat.
I know, i know the arguments.. You can't raid without it, you'll never be as organized ... blah blah blah.
I can follow an organized group and lead on without it...althou leading can make you pull your hair out.
But, i have a funny thing when i play mmoRPG's, i actually get immersed into the game which is rare nowadays.
So when im playing and i am roleplaying away, sucked in and then i hear some big bad ork talking on vent with a voice thats going through puberty...just kinda ruins it for me.
And i LOVE grouping with females and you here through Vent..."Hey guys, names Paul..like my jugs rah rah rah"

Hah yeah I guess vent would kind of ruin that whole immersion factor.
I've actually never used any voice chat program on an mmo, and darkfall will probably be the first one I do.

Don't get me wrong, i definately see the advantages. But it just isn't worth it to me.
Plus if im involved in an organized group, im one of the rare people who LISTENS TO INSTRUCTIONS hehe

Of course its bug free.
That's how Darkfall got it's Soon trademark.

Good luck finding a decent guild that doesn't use Ventrillo. Also, if you don't listen, you'll probably get kicked or punished. There won't be any 12 year olds that dance while everyone else gets into formation and follows orders, because of full out PvP.
I don't see many people going against orders, and if they are, there won't be tolerance for it.

I hate to sound like a religious preacher but the only thing you can do is have faith in these developers and their GRAND SCHEME.
Just be patient and you will be rewarded. :)
