you could write about the scs VS srs war. and how scs had a great victory over its foe.

you could write about forumfallers sticking to forumfall through AoC launch and watching it crash and burn.

you could write about matriel once being a mod.

you could write about claus' mysterious disapearance.

you could write about Preston withdrawing from his position.

you could write about Brannoc pranking forumfall by saying that he was leaving (got everyone upset)

you could write about the removal of join dates

just some ideas here. I'll write up some more if i can remember any more events.

What kind of stuff are you looking for Aranin? I do have an RP argument between Merrin and myself that is recorded from years ago, but it is about three pages long. Don't know if that will be of any use to you? Or are you only looking for general stuff that happened on the forums?

this is the pm i sent to tj before if it might help at all.
+ those are some brilliant idea's by blackvolgan

anything relating to forumfall and historical events within it...the style is to sort of make it fantasy.

if you've read the other stuff sorta keeping with the creation idea and dfo as the world and devs/mods as the true gods/creators.

for instance maybe something about beta/the video
or the 2005 clan beta sign up.
about individuals within forumfall or even clans (just try not to be to biased)

really yeh anything about forumfall that fits the style.
alot of room to be creative with whatever u wanna write.

O.K this may be wholly irrelevant to what you want but I posted it anyhow just in case. These were actual forum posts that are no longer available and I saved them for sake of RP type history etc.

Merrin's : Condemnation of a Sellsword

It is certain those who walk in the Light do so by the Grace of Morgaine, the source of all Light and Just Order in Agon. Those who shun the Light of God, and the missions of Her devout followers, do so only with the purpose to aid and abet the hand of Chaos.

Recently it has come to the attention of the Holy Church that a certain demonizer and sellsword has been seeking concourse with established regions, for the purpose of temporal benefaction. It is my intent that all figures involved in such precarious discourse, and any future parties invited to similar associations, be made fully aware of the Fireblood Brotherhood's status with the Church of Morgaine.

The Faithful should know that the sinister leader of this band of brigands is a declared murderer, an assailant guilty of the cruel death of the Holy Church's own Father Daemeon (may the Light safeguard his soul). Trent Fireblood is deemed a heretic of the first degree, by the Holy Fathers of Dalriada and those throughout the vast kingdom of Mercia. This outlaw has vindictively slain a holy man, who was in service to the blessed work Our Lady of Light has set Her soldiers to do.

Until as such time this pagan submits himself to the greater justice offered him by the ecclesiastical court, let the blades of righteous men know his foul blood if ever he travels in civilized lands.

Those who follow this deceiver are no less innocent of the crimes he himself incites. Those who give hospice to this evildoer's camp of criminals do so against the Will of God. Those who engage in exchange with this maligned soul do so in sign of their own malcontent towards the Holy Church that pursues him.

By the Grace of Our Lady of Light, may revelation be upon those who are preyed upon by deceiving hands.

Fr. Merrin al'Keedh, RO

Trent Fireblood's response to Merrin

I had hoped that the church would have mended its fanatical ways with the passing of poor Father Daemeon. He was a disgrace to the church and to all that it means to be Mercian.

A man who would not think twice before ordering the slaughter of common, good and just soldiers who had known nothing except defense of the innocent. Father Daemeon was corrupt and it was known to all. We done the church a service by ridding Agon of his putrid body and evil mind.

All good men know of the corruption the church suffered under Father Daemeon. Merrin, I was hoping that you of all people would understand what needed to be done. The slaughter of the soldiers and of Garrock was unjustified and brutal and unbecoming of a man of the cloth. These were not brigands nor mercenaries but state soldiers that were murdered. Rather it was Daemeon who was the demonizer, no doubt in the service of the vile Melek.

As for myself and the Brotherhood then it is well known that we are enemies unto Melek and his children and unto the Orks and all other types of evil beasts.

In truth Merrin, we need not be enemies. Things have worked out for the church; the corruption has ended with the death of Daemeon, the ringleader of the hidden Melekites. You have assumed power and restored stability in the region.

Although let it be known Merrin, we fear no man or beast nor any else that walks on Agonian soil or appears to those that walk it. I beseech you, let what misunderstandings have gone past, remain there and now let us at this time enter through a new dawn of peace between the Brotherhood and the Church. It can only be for the good in this time where the Melekites sing the songs of war and of occupation. Where the Mahirim and Orks get ready their machines of war and hoardes of filthy beasts.

I leave the decision to you Father Merrin. I extend my hand to you in friendship but if it is refused then I have another; the one that skinned alive Daemeon.

Merrin responds back

You reveal more than is your due concerning Father Daemeon, Trent Fireblood. There is no leeway concerning the assertion of those past events, as such is reserved solely for disclosure in the ecclesiastical courts, where your tongue would not waggle so maliciously before the honorable judges of Gaunt Castle. It is not given to temporal men, much less one of your profession, to claim rogue justice on those bearing the sigil and robes of holy office.

You offer one hand in friendship to the Holy Church, and yet threaten Our Lady's congregation with the other. Let this be a lesson of your innermost disposition, to those you seek to cohort for refuge and assurance through carnal affairs.

Those skilled and intent in the use of arms are bidden to swear their allegiance to Church or King, not to ruin their lives as sellswords living on the fringe of social order, exercising barbaric vigilante street justice. Mercenaries who hold no allegiance to the temporal or ecclesiastical courts are undeniably rogue in nature, a taint which has no place in a society built on the principle of Order, which opposes Chaos.

While you may yet find reception in the halls of elvenkind and stonemen, do not presume that Mercia, its King, and the one and only God of Agon has need of you and your's. What you offer to the clans of men, for barter, the Holy Church gives freely through its spiritual care and the strength of those Holy Knights sworn to the Lightbringer of Morgaine.

I do not disdain the vigilance you seemingly profess against the infidel hordes of Nagast and Morak. What the Church pities is the practice of renegade powers, such as yourself, who think themselves competent and worthy to live outside the means of a just society, unbound by the laws of both God and Men.

Trent's final response to Merrin

I offered peace to you holyman yet do you choose enmity? I leave unto you what must be made plain.

Let me remind you Merrin that Daemeon, he earnt his wicked death. Justice was served by common men who saw the bloody work of the church under Daemeon. And let it be a promise to you Merrin that this type of justice shall continue and prevail as long as corrupt men hold office in high places and order the deaths of good and righteous commoners.

You speak so boldly from behind the church walls Merrin and your tongue lengthens when you do so. Mercia is not a small plot of land, holyman, and no doubt you shall never control it all, so let not the snake in your mouth run wild with speech of ruling all Mercia. There are many common men of various clans that would rise against an unjust rule should it develop. Your mission has been tolerated but religious fanaticism shall not be accepted so easily by the common Mercians.

Although we have no place in our hearts for Morgaine we respectfully tolerated the belief of the church. But your speech contains fanaticism Merrin, and if a day should come that men are forced by point of sword to accept the creed of Morgaine then the Brotherhood shall be the first to start the rebellion. Again we seek not chaos but a just and peaceful rule, we mind not which righteous king rules Mercia but those leaning to oppression shall be vanquished.

The Fireblood Brotherhood do not kill on whim except the vile Melekites and Orken scum. It is a noble band that corrects and brings to righteousness those that have lost their way. It is true we have many thieves, assassins and soldiers amongst us, but it is known that they have mended their ways and use their skills only in the pursuit of good.

I leave with you the knowledge that the Brotherhood are free and good men, they spend their days hunting game and defending Mercians and all good races from the Melekites, vile Orks and rogue Mahirim. When they can they help weak clans and peoples overcome their enemies for a small price in gold and a good meal. Their nights are spent around campfires swapping stories of the legends of past and singing songs of battles long ago.

Truly the Fireblood are the defenders of the common man and helpers of the weak. No man is perfect Merrin, nor is any lady, even Morgaine. So let not the past cloud your judgement; hold back your fanatical edicts and extend not that snake tongue of yours too much, make for it a prison behind your teeth.

We have had a lengthy discourse Merrin, I hope you have learnt a few things, I have. As you have seemingly rejected my offer of peace, trade and allegiance, I leave you for now with a final offer of non-aggression. We have no treaties between us except that we do not attack one another.

If you should reject this final offer then we shall be forced to defend ourselves and shall be at war with the Red Order. Our attacks shall be relentless, the church shall know no peace nor solace. As for the soldiers and holymen of the church, we shall kill them wherever we find them. And you Merrin shall meet the same fate as the Melekite Daemeon.

It is your decision Merrin but at this time I tend towards a truce.

Like I said in the other thread, you can't forget to write about me and tears incestuous relationship. It adds romance to the story, and makes us seem more greek(where the game is being made) and divine(since only gods can get away with it).
