although it had a lot of potential, its better than most games out there, it takes more skill than luck in multi, and the single player combat is unmatched

Love that game, completely rape shit in it.
The multiplayer is strange because you play it for a while and your like WTF THATS OP WTF and then you realize EVERYTHING is overpowered. Its a great time.Personally I like playing mages/archers but priests are the overall most potent class (EZ MODE). It's really unfortunate that Ubisoft is preventing the release of the SDK for whoever knows why. It killed off the community and the game would be legendary if only it was a little bit more customizable.

Along with Portal, its the only single player game I've ever been able to endure. The plot isn't complex, but its really enjoyable and theres a fucking awesome twist. Also you get your choices of whether to be good or evil (doesn't really matter except alternate ending). Some parts aren't too hot (FUCK YOU SPIDER CAVES) but some things (see video, being chased through a temple by a fucking giant wurm, fighting big fucking shit, sneaking around sniping things, the list goes on) are amazing. Its all compacted into 10 hours of mega fun gameplay. If Darkfall had some of the stuff in that game to similar effect, it would indisputably be the best game ever.

I might go play it again just cause its the shit. Except spiders, oh how I hate those POS spiders.

If theyd had a different (better) story with better characters it would have been a really great game. The gameplay was fun and pretty innovative, and i enjoyed the multiplayer quite a bit. I fucking rocked, ROCKED as a warrior, and it was always nice to cave some LORB mage's skull in.
