Okay, I'm having a problem. If like I go into water for example the screen goes black and starts clipping etc. It happens randomly when walking around as well. I am really wanting to play this as I never have before and from what I have done so far it's fun :) So yeah It's the Game of the Year edition if that matters.

First thing I would do is get the latest version of direct x, and the latest drivers for your video card.

Install the patch, too. Should be able to find it with Google, I think it's v1.3.

There isn't a 1.3 Patch O.o

You could also run it in a lower resolution, or disable a certain effect.

There is, it's just not on their website. I'll try to find it, I just played the game about two weeks ago.

You could also run it in a lower resolution, or disable a certain effect.

My resolution is at 800X600. I'll try disabling effects

It was 1112, not sure where I got 1.3.

I totally thought all of the responses were just playing along with a troll's post, until I realized Deus Ex is an actual game.

lol okay...It's still not working...I don't know whats wrong. It was doing this with CoD4 as well on singleplayer. I don't know what to do :/

Now this right here is what we call someone who hasn't played Deus Ex before.

It's one of the greatest games ever, play it.

What OS are you using?

You have another video card you can test the game with? The one you're using might be having hardware issues.

hmm it seems to be working fine after I reinstalled all my drivers :) Thanks for all the help guys.

Man, that is one of the best FPS games ever made. Big shame about the sequel. I'm not getting my hopes up for the third...
