My friends thought the movie was okay, but mindway through the movie I personally wanted to gouge my eyeballs out with a spoon rather than continue watching it.

I got suckered by friends into seeing this.

It was a terrible movie. The actors were not at all believable. The characters were undeveloped. The plotline was thinner than the Olsen twins, yet they tried to make it seem epic.

The only thing going for it was the action, which wasn't even impressive.

Don't waste your money seeing it.

what i find most amazing is they tried to dual release a scorpion king 2 movie along with it. the preview nights (people that watched the movie and reviewed it before it was released) were soooooo fucking bad they B'd a VERY expensive movie (in terms of B movies, anyway).

if it had been like the 2 minutes at the beginning of 'The Mummy Returns' where he was a bad guy who sold his soul to the god of death and had an army of evil dog headed Anubis monsters that raped and killed everybody in Thebes, it would have been decent.

that was my favorite scene from that whole movie, the Anubis monsters killing everybody and throwing all those screaming bitches off the city walls, then turning back into black sand.

the scorpion king was a god awful remake of the story of achilles. it was abso-fucking-lutely brutal.
