i played assassin's creed for ps3, i didn't think it was worth it. it was kinda cool, but i spent more time running around shanking people than actually playing, and i eventually just got bored of it and quit.

Assasians Creed, if not for the gameplay then for the story, it was the best story in a videogame I have ever seen if ye ask me, would make a kick arse movie.

Wow, playing Darkfall like that would make me wet.

As for the games, COD4 and GTA4 are ok games but you get bored of them pretty fast. COD4 is just another action shooter, like Halo except with a tad bit more realism. Having gun and magical "perk" upgrades in a FPS shooter is kinda lame though.

It's terrible. Also, Oblivion without mods is the pain itself.

lol. i think the perks is what really makes COD4 deep. granted there are some really gay perks like martyrdom, but most of the others are ok. it's what gives the characters variety. do you want to be the guy who can take a lot of shots and keep going or the guy with hollow point bullets that do extra damage? do you want to be the guy who can sprint really far or the guy that is real accurate with his gun.

and if you think having perks in a FPS is lame then what the fuck do you think the "skills" in darkfall are gonna be like? there's gonna be skills that make your sword do more damage or maybe let you run faster or take more hits. hey, that's just like the "perks" in COD4!

i love COD4 so my opinion is biased, but it is the best FPS on a console to date imho. Halo is a good game too, but i'm not a fan of having to dump 2 full clips into somebody, bunny hop over them, then shove a hand grenade up thier ass just to kill them. i prefer putting a nice double tap from my AK-47 into someone's chest and watching them go limp.

so here's my recommendation. if you like playing games on live get COD4. it's almost always on the top of the list of games played most on XBL and you can always find a ton of games.

if you like playin offline too try out EA's Skate. this game came out about a year ago, but i'm still findin new spots to work everytime i play.

There's a really fun game you can play if your 360 red-rings on you. It's called "Open Up the Xbox 360 and Replace the Gooey Coolant with Rubber Erasers." If you win, the red ring goes away for a while.

Assasins Creed - I loved it, but it does take 3-4 hours of game play to really get into the game. Not for the ADD crowd.

Mass Effect is very good

For racing go with Burn-out Paradise

For Strategy go with C&C3 Tiberium Wars

Two Worlds did suck, don't bother

F.E.A.R was another one I enjoyed, but didn't get much press.

And if you want a good laugh, "Hour of Victory" is such a hilariously borked game that I think they gave up designing levels. The game just kind of ends when the bugs get so bad that there is no way to keep playing.
