The Chinese cannabilism thing sounds off. Guangdong is one of the most Western provinces (being next to Hong Kong and all) and they consider even eating dog barbaric, in contrast to many other parts of China. There was a Chinese horror short released a few years ago though, called 'Dumplings', about women who ate aborted fetuses in their dumplings because they believed it helped slow the aging process. It's a pretty good watch.

I ate pig brain in Kunming and that wasn't too great.. it didn't really taste of anything, so there's no flavour to help you forget that you're eating the brain of a pig. Dog isn't too great, either.. it's kind of like subpar beef.

Interesting. I think I pretty much understand what you're getting at. And I guess liquid nitrogen is the cheapest substance that will condense/vaporize at that low of a temperature, being that it's ~77% of the atmosphere...sure you need fractional distillation to get at it, but that's not THAT expensive.
