Some new info about Mortal Online coming out of leipzig, it sounds pretty cool, there's still a lot of work to be done on the game and the netcode is still being developed, there's more interviews to be posted up in the next few days from some of the visitor's so check back.

actually the MO community has had less info than the DF community has, but Star Vault did state that they wouldn't be releasing anything in july/august due to the games convention and other stuff, all this info is primarily interviews from fan's going to the games convention.

There are "archetypes" that dictate how fast you will raise certain skills and I think how far you can specialize in a given field (a mage will not be able to become a complete master swordsman, in other words). So it's sort of a hybrid of a skill system and a class system.

I don't think there's any info on races.

the "classes" as they poorly chose to call them are more of a hybrid as alfar mentioned. as far as races go, the only one right now is half-orc.

someone else said they have some audio interviews (i think they said like 10 mins) that will be posted at some point within the week, so hopefully we get more info than what we have now from the GC (not much really, other than hitboxes and mount related info :rolleyes:).

i have a feeling MO's going to be a darkfall aboriton. the community is pretty carebear anyways. their just WoW fans shooting up darkfall.
