Hello Darkfallers,

I am here to announce the fansite known as DarkfallWorld.com (http://www.darkfallworld.com/). I will be taking over as Site Manager, just as I did at Warcry, to keep the site updated and ready for the day Darkfall Beta arrives. As of right now we are remodeling the site to look more professional but we can’t do it alone.

I am looking for volunteers to help create DarkfallWorld into something great. We are looking for the following positions.

Programmers – Need skill in Http and Flash. Experience recommend, but not required. If you can supply examples of work, that would be great.

Content Editors – Need skill in basic Http and have spare time for the website. Need to keep the site looking great and keep info updated

Writers – Need good grammar and spelling habits. As of right now we need writers to be column writers and news writers but will be separated once Darkfall is in beta. One one example if interested in writing columns.

If you need writers I can muster up some care and help out. My grammar is fairly good though I have a few quirks and occasionally throw out a run on. I've been considering what I want to do with my life a lot lately and journalism keeps coming up, getting a little experience would probably be good for me.

I probably won't be writing anything until the game is actually out though, as at the moment it's all speculation and interpretation. I'm bookish so I do accumulate information on a game pretty quickly, server drama included.

However once the game actually releases there will be information that will be cumbersome to keep track of simply on the forums and I doubt the devs will be putting it on the site itself. There are plenty of MMO fan sites out there that get as many if not more hits than the official sites due to a glut of easily accessible and useful game information. Generally that is how it has always worked, official site for basic game information that you'd learn by reading the back of the box, fan sites for more esoteric information.
