I was looking at the map for a nice HQ for my Mafia and THEN thought, does the map perfectly correspond with ingame material? If I see this island on the map, will it be there ingame? I dont know if anyone knows but just wondering

good question, I thought it was 100% real, like no new spots on the map to explore like mini-islands and such, but that could be a possibility

Only Playability will tell us the truth...

no one can answer this question... unless a Dev or Brannoc.. (I KNOW YOU KNOW!)

This isn't Wow so ya I would assume. I mean they said we can go anywhere, so why make a map with unrelyable info?

Anyways, isn't it a bit early to be choosing places? You don't even know what it looks like there...

Well I'm not too concerned with if there's any mini-islands, cus I've picked out an island that would work nicely, but I dont want to spend 4 hours ingame trying to get to it and then finding its not even there.

And no, it is not too early, because I'm not too concerned with the terrain etc, because it is the perfect island as far as having a central location for where I want the business and dirty work going on. hehe

Dude, then we have to fear this game, we hardly know anything about the important stuff

We know a lot of fluff and extra stuff, but not any of the heavy material :(

Guys this isn't much of an issue, all I'm wondering is if I see this item on the map that they made, should I see it ingame. Theres no surprise about that.. Its not like they are gonna have this huge continent on the map and ingame say SURPRISE! IT WAS A JOKE, ITS A SMALL 24mx24m MAP! Sheesh

I'd guess the map is correct except... I'm fairly sure it was mentioned somewhere that there will be uncharted islands, that obviously don't appear on the map.

You never know. Maybe the lore could explain fast made volcanoes that make new little islands appear!

Or a spaceship falls to the ground, and it's filled with all these Drenai who escaped the Burning Legion and... wait.
