This article looks like a bad sum-up of the older write up and its sorter and it contains the same mistakes that the first had,and the problem is that a games magazine that doesn't even have an e-mail on the magazine shouldn't be called games magazine.

I need to post a letter to an address if i want to get responded back by them or even make them release corrections.

I'm really not too worried about that. I mean the fact of the matter is that Darkfall has absolutely no PR, the closest thing that ever came close to being PR were those weekly IGN updates, but those only lasted so long, and sometimes weeks some how becames months before the next update came out. At least that allows me the satisfaction of knowing that almost all their time was dedicated to the development of Darkfall instead. Hopefully that pans out.

I know what you're saying, but now they've specifically stated that the game will be out this year and I am holding them to their word.

For me personally that means that if the beta isn't out by this year, and/or there is no word of a retail date I'll give up on this game. Furthermore, if the video coming out this month isn't satisfactory or if it's delayed I'll probably stop reading the forums and just wait and see if the game actually comes out or not. I think a lot of people feel the same; a lot hinges on whether the video coming out this month is good or if it's just disappointing like the other videos they've released.

They've stated that the game is coming out this year. The year isn't over yet, we're only into the eighth month and they have plenty of time to release something that will convince me further that Darkfall is worth investing in.

Basically I've just gotten tired of empty promises. This is the last time I'm gonna trust them and for now I remain positive. I have faith in you Aventurine.

The only link with Neocron that I seem to recall from memory was that Reakktor were looking for investors a while back (eventually going with 10tacle) but Aventurine were looking at getting involved.

At this point mainstream isn't even a issue, it being in English and/or from a credible source is the real issue.

Having to dig through the intertubes for "Darkfall information game" is getting old and fast, especially when 99.999999% of it is in different languages.

It really does get me thinking whats going to happen when bugs appear in the game, will they be fixed 6 months later? At a Greek pace?
