about a year or year and a half ago I did a web search for MMORPG and Traps. (was looking for an MMO that had a trap system similar to the NWN games) yeah I know I am a trap freak.


I came across this quote:

I watched the alpha video first but didn't bother checking out the rest of the game,then later on I clicked the link on TNC and discovered and registered from there on in.

Thanks Darkfall for showing me that not all P2P MMORPG's have to be boring grindfests with no real immersion. :D

I heard of this game many many years ago when I used to play Shadowbane. I remember the hype for this game being pretty big back then. Over the years I kind of forgot about it until I stumbled upon a couple videos on youtube a couple months ago. Suprised that this thing is still in development and not vaporware, I'm now eagerly waiting for its release.

i was on the wow forums for wotlk and some idiot typed out the most in depth wall of text ive ever seen about how they should make the next xpac for wow and none of it made any sense and none of it had anything to do with wow and they were all horrible ideas and its like he was on acid and designed an mmo (he wanted something called a mirror world or something where you go play through all the leveling areas as an endgame character except all the areas are filled with level 80 stuff)

anyways someone said that one of the ideas he had reminded him of a game called darkfall and he posted a vid and i was reaaly suprised id never heard of it before

I found it when it was mentioned several times in the /OOC chat of Age of Failure. After finding this site and reading for a few minutes I immediately canceled my account and then took my Age of Failure disk, crapped on it and use the game manual to wipe with. I am glad that I at least found something useful for that waste of $60 whether that be finding this site or wiping my ass.

In fact if you ask me I think Age of Failure should be one of the options up there. If you played at all you would know that DF is talked about on a daily basis on the forums and in chat.
