Voice Chat?

Some games have incorporated voice chat into player-created channels. I think that it would be cool if DFO had the same thing, so that clans wouldn't have to buy a vent server.

Some games, take WoW for example, did this, but there were too few customisation options, and that quality was crap.

I'm thinking the devs have played enough games that if they do include a voice chat, they'll know how it's gotta work for hardcore raids and stuff.

I think EQ2 has just added the feature where you dont need vent for voice chat in game.
Maybe with a update or expantion DF would have too.

To be honist it doesnt really bother me weather we have it or not, the game will be great with the stuff it has promised already.

I'm not sure if there are plans to incorporate it into the game or not. At the end of the day, whole clans can use ventrillo to talk from opposite ends of Agon, which may not be allowed in an ingame system so it would make sense to let the players sort their own methods of communication out because any effort might be a waste of time.

I am not saying in game voice chat is bad... its just useless and pointless, IMHO Use Vent or TS. Slightly less over head for the game and works jut as well for gamers

Im sure I read some information recently which said they had an in game voice communication sytem but I think this informasion was from way back in 2003 :S

voice chat would be a good thing. and it's been suggested strongly. and the devs have agreed. and the devs have said they will be implementing this.
