Anyway OP, I still disagree. There will certainly be times when the DF-servers are down or they've got some server problems (even the forum isn't stable though that's nothing new when it comes to game forums in general)
I want Darkfall out right now basically because I'm always very focussed to one game. I want Darkfall to come out so much that playing other games until I don't like Darkfall anymore (for whatever reasons but in 20 years it'll suddenly be replaced by something) are just not intresting for me and therefore no fun.

As for the Quoted reply, Spacesiege is not about spaceships, its simmilar to action adventure games like Diablo or Dungeon siege but set in sci fi setting.

Regardless, when DF is released i will be all over that game like a cheap suit, i just like gaming to much and will have the desire to play those other games. :eek:

Those games are primarily single player, you could play them 10 years from now and they would be the same. Darkfall will always be changing and you might miss really cool stuff, especially in the beginning.

Do you have some insider info that we don't? Because the only things I've heard are that the game is feature complete, they have a European publisher, and right now the biggest process they're working on is playtesting. Sounds like this year's release material to me.

@Nogganogga - Starwars is probably one of the best sci-fi in terms of overall enjoyment of the films, the only thing that annoyed me was the death star moment which completely flawed (Why would they have a 2m(?) hole which if a missile got down it the entire station would blow up and how the fuck did that missile curve down there and not explode on the sides of the gap whilst going down. apparently Elveon should be coming out this year, though the site got closed down...and no one knows what the hell happened to it...there was an article somewhere that the site was temporarily down. That game looks pretty good, and its not vaporware, since so many gameplay videos have been released, etc.

I can't understand why The Sims sucked...
It's not my style of game. But it offer what its hyped to offer very well.
In fact, the sims is for simulation games far more than 99% of RPGs is for RPG Games...

Spore can suck in fact. But the whole concept and the creation system is far more revolucionary than any RPGs that still follows the "elf and orc" saga.
Besides, the engine of Spore will, without doubt, be the future of many sandbox games.

Oblivion sucks for many other things else than being singleplayer.
The greatest of it, is the "balance" system...

A good thing of an Online Game is that you will never be the strongest for much time.
