alot of people are wondering about it so i found this screen where you can see the mahirim with face paint or markings and some kind of beard also the fur is dark

in this picture we can also see a white furred mahirim with some kind of long ears or maybe even horns and again a different marking/face paint thats a different color

then in this picture there is a mahirim with medium fur color glowing yellow eyes and besides that its fairly plain with no markings

so for those who were worried about the level of customizations it looks fairly customizable atleast for the mahirim

hoped this helped some of you but i know some will just say so what and move on

i thought they were fur colorations at first but if you look at the other pics the other races have em too and ive seen like 10 different ones so far and the only three colors ive see are red white and black

also if this is a guild city i will piss myself

im not sure...it might be a customization you choose when you make your character or it could be something you get from some face painting shop or something like that

Turns out we have more than 3.3 BILLION possible character dressing variations in Darkfall. Color combinations for almost every piece of wearable NOT included. Wieldables not included either, so there is another multiplier to factor in.

Sometimes I wonder if we should have made Barbie Online instead...

One thing I'm actually glad about personally graphics wise is how the male characters in this game don't look ugly as fuck and the female characters look like complete sluts, it looks like the devs actually went ahead and made a nice even balance with them.

And what type of customization. Seems on the quotes like they have preset choices rather than the slider-style used in Oblivion. I hope so, since these systems rarely manages to give a range of realistic faces.

As long as its well-done enough so you wont have to constantly run into characters that look exactly like you. And as long as they don't do a Neverwinter and, for example, put up 10 rather extreme haircuts and forgets to add a basic one like being bald.
