Actually it's slightly more than 1 gig per minute. Like, 1.6gigs. I just FRAPS'ed a 1minute 44 second long video and it ended up being a bit over 3 gigs. Then I used Vegas 8 and made it in to an .avi file (by compressing it) and it ended up being ~300mb.
If they take all that 1TB of raw footage and just compress it (which I doubt they will) it'll end up being atleast 5-10gigs (depending on how they compress it).

My guess is because it's so damn big it takes time for them to actually gather all the relevant/interesting information to a clip.

You have a point but I'd guess it's not their top priority atm. Also, it might make sense to delay releasing the video until other things are sorted out so it can be co ordinated with the rest of what goes into hyping the game. i even saw an interview on a diff thread from 3 years ago and in the interview the devs said they were finishing the game off and polishing it and it should be out soon.
