Race?

Best Race for a assassin type charecter?
I was thinking Alfar but after reading wikipedia it says its a caster type race?.

If you're looking to be stealthy, I'd say go with dwarf. It can't hurt to be a midget when trying to hide.

but they are not playable races so I would say it doesn't make a difference, just pick the race you enjoy.

alfar. They are not "casteR" type, they are the smartest race so that means they are naturally better at magic, however they also lurk in shadows and stuff and are very tiny. I would go with them. besides even if they are caster type characters, what would you be more afraid of in an assassin? someone that jumps out and stabs you or someone that jumps out and blasts you in the fucking face with a fire ball? exactly

as far as racials are concerned the ork is the best and thats a fact (i read that they are the best melee characters but the worst magic users.....not to say its a huge difference but its probably noticable)

although a miradain is really skinny and probably fairly stealthy
