I've researched a few potential zombie books. Give your opinions:

I also already bought "Monster Island", since it was the only one available at a brick and mortar store. I had mixed feelings about it after reading reviews, but will give it a shot.

World War Z is supposed to be pretty good. I haven't read it yet though.

It's an awesome book.

I Am Legend (the book) is also pretty good, although that's a horde of vampires, not zombies (it still counts though because it's not just a few vampires).

WWZ isn't really a novel though, it consists mostly of short stories, some of which are connected to other short stories. I find it at least a little laughable that the president/VP in that theoretical incident are Colin Powell/Howard Dean. It's a good read though.

I agree it's not in the typical format, but it's still technically a novel.

Just finished Monster Island, and got Monster Nation today.

Was not "traditional" as far as zombies go, but it was good.


Unfortunately I can't find the Autumn series in print in the US, so I'm probably gonna have to buy from UK.
