I haven't followed his actions as governor in any way but I've seen him being interviewed twice recently and both times I was fairly impressed. He seems to be pretty to the point, probably because he hasn't been a politician his whole life. For instance, he openly supports John McCain but he also openly admits that he has positions contrary to McCain's. I vaguely remember hearing some dumb things that he has done but they haven't stuck in my mind at all so who knows. Any Californians here with some insight on whether he's a joke or not?
