Man, I feel bad for all the people I know that were banking on AoC being the "godsend MMO" they have been waiting for.

FC's gonna make a ton of money on xbox360 maybe and expansion. Some of the stuff people complain about now is a pro for console; fast leveling, easy game-play, little use of text-chat, flashy graphics (wait for dx10) and combo combat system.

Binding is partly to make the game harder I think, together with the gear/gem fixes (nerfs) and to create he basis for an economy. Doesn't really affect gear grinding though as raid gear was already BoP.
