I played it for about 4 months, didnt feel shame. I felt bored as hell but shame, no.

Playing My Little Pony Online, that I would feel shame playing.. in fact, I think I am going to log out of it now and go to bed since I just got my new saddle.

Seriously though, this is just typical bitching of people who have never had anything to do with games and just find it weird, frankly I'm beginning to wonder if any of these 'psychologists' who have never been named actually have any credibility to them at all *cough* Lawrence Cooper *cough*.

I subscribed to WoW but I didn't actually play it like some people do where they just base their lives around grinding or getting gear, when it was good all I did was roleplay, levelling up was just a pass time for me, but then all the good roleplayers started leaving or turning into gear hungry scumbags ( seriously it was fucking amazing the way they just ditched roleplaying altogether as if it was a chore ) so the I pretty much left and have been hovering from MMORPG to MMORPG ever since.

Not to hurt you all or anything, but this wasn't about WoW specifically. If you read it, it mentions EVE and another game which I guess was Second Life. It was simply that it's more shameful to play online games than to look at porn. It's just that people who don't go on the internet only know about WoW, they've never heard of the myriad of different MMO's.
