Cats are nice but I think I actually prefer owls because they're cute and even though they hunt smaller birds and critters than them they at least don't drag the poor sods into the living room and force me to shut them behind two doors and play a hide and seek game with a bird that's frozen in fear.

The bird survived by the way I hid it in a hedge and chased the cats away... Or at least I hope it did.... Doesn't help that the things have REALLY expressive eyes -_-
