Opinions on Aerilyan/OOC

For those of you that are participating in this RP or just read it. Just tell me what you like about the background story and what you don't like. This will also be used for out of character posts because OOC posts usually get you out of character.

I plan on making more episodes to this since its a pretty big story. Also if you are unable to post or can't continue RPing just write down here and someone will either carry on for you or your character can just be killed off.

This Map of Aerilyan took literally 10 minutes to make. Made by paint and is really rough.

As you can see all main cities except for Sanguine have been destroyed by the shade. The Alfar have dug tunnels in the west of Aerilyan to help defend against the greedy shade. The Orks have taken over a huge city which is left alone by the shade since the Orks are almost as powerful as the Shade.

The dwarves have gathered around the south-east of Aerilyan, they are almost powerless. The other races are scattered around the country, either trying to escape or just trying to survive.

Oh and there is also something about the shade that i thought would help balance everything out since the shade are the most powerful. The shade may be the most powerful race in Agon but they are out-numbered and have little or no knowledge about magic, other races, and who their king is.

I second the notion! Haarahld has decent magic, but he is a rare one among the shade. Walking tanks are the shade, fully encased in plate, big weapons, evil demanor, etc... Hard as hell to kill one, but they are small in number. Agreeable?

Yup. And their armour is always black to show the aggression.

Hey I just wanted to see if this was an open RP. b/c I'm really enjoying reading this. And Have a great idea how to continue the story from where the two Mahirim are left alone fighting the Shade and they look like they are about to loose. I to am a Mahirim btw ;)

and said to see that on your map you have no mahirim hideout... then agian the mahirim uses the hole forest as their hideout :sly:

Yes, I agree that it did become really strange and disorderly how the mardian and the human (suppose to be the good guys) just run and leave the mahirim to fend for theirselves... and now the story is kinda split into two... the mahirims fighting the shades and..well loosing lol.. and the mardian and human found a destoried village...(which in my oppion was what ruined it a little) i think that was what it was alteast.. but Rageon if you continued with me as well as blackdawg. I thikn we can fix this problem. and reunite the story as one :D

It really depends if i am, because i am not quite sure if Rageon is dead or just knocked down. So, ill watch a little, and he may jump from a cliff with his fist-claw-weapon-things, and stab you to death. So, ill wait and see what happens.

nothing to post atm, appart from what you've already commented, which I'll reply, just wanted you to know that I'll be reading!

As for the... separation... we were suposed to ask for help, and we told the mahirim we were leaving, they decided to stay, not our fault :S we werent going to stay there for a sure death. They're superior!

Oh wait there is in fact something I wanna ask:
How many arrows would be necessary to kill a shade, more or less? cause I find a couple of them too low, you can tire them or knock them for some seconds but arrows can't be any big help. The only thing they can do is like... stunning them for a few seconds, which would be vital if we are to save allies in the middle of the battle, you got what I'm writing?

LoL looks like this new race i have introduced is very interesting. The truth is it depends on where you attack them, how big they are, and how well they are armoured.

As for the seperation we can meet up shortly. We don't have to be together the whole entire time as that makes it uninteresting.

Oh and another thing about the seperation. The shades are going to seperate and do their own things. We all basically have one goal; to stop the shade and escape Aerilyan alive, or just free Aerilyan and turn it back into Mercia.
