So, my refrigerator is basically empty and I need to go to the grocery. What's some good food? What do you eat a lot of, keep a lot of in your fridge? Anything you'd recommend?

For the most part I stick to turkey sandwiches, baked beans, umm, apples and carrots, pancakes and cereal. I've been eating like crazy and I'm not gaining any weight, I need to open the playing field some more.

Cheese like a good cheddar or some mild french shit.

Alright, I have "some kinda cheese" on my list and cape gooseberry. What else amigos? My knowledge of different kinds of foods are severely lacking, and I don't want to look lost in the grocery store. :(

Should get some pastas and soups that you might like, or a combination of the two like Spaghetti-Os (preferably with hot dog chunks)

Go down the ethnic food isle and just fill the cart. there some good stuff in there. some stuff from my cuban father in law:

Avacado w/ olive oil and garlic salt (holy crap this is good)
Ropa Vieja (also freakin delicious if you do it right) <- shredded beef
Pallomila steak <- super thin steak w/ lime onion and garlic
Candied papya <- REALLLLLLY sweet. too sweet for me but you might like it.

As some changes on common foods, try using Mojo Criollo as a marinade.

I normaly get some prawns in some marie rose sauce and put them in the middle of the avacado.

Well I always get turkey and ham, but that's usually about it for that.

Only time I eat chicken is if I'm with a friend and they stop by Mc'D's, all I get there is their classic grilled chickens. Pork, no just bacon that you can slap in the microwave shamelessly. Beef, no. =/

What about fish? Maybe a meaty fish like tuna.

Okay, one thing you can definately strike off. I don't like seafood. From shrimp to crab legs, fish fillet to ...seaweed?

Ok I'll throw tilapia on the list as well just for the hell of it.

I haven't slept yet so I think I'll go ahead and crash, let this keep going wherever it will. Then I'll finish my list and hit the grocery store tonight.

Don't let me down Forumfall! Keep tossing out your favorite foods, suggested foods, or whatever for a helpless food bum.

nectarines, raspberies, blueberries, bananas.

if you want to put on muscle, you need protein: peanut butter, tofu, beans (canned beans are gross and baked beans are not good for yuo. buy some dry black beans or pinto beans and cook them in a croc pot with some onion or garlic and maybe some fresh pepper if you like it spicy. eat them with some bread/tortillas/rice. and avocado and salsa).
