I haven't seen any threads about this so I'm wondering what you guys think about E3 and what you will be looking for if you watch it on TV.
I think SOE has something in the works aswell as NCsoft aside from extremely pansy game Aion.

/E3 is queer
All three companies are going to announce their very own wireless, motion-controlled remote similar to the Wii remote. Also, Nintendo will announce an attachment that is basically a gyro for the Wii remote, which makes it so that it will function just as they had described it years ago, where you can actually swing a sword and such (since the remote will then work with turning and such, rather than just what the sensor sees).
Nintendo's game line-up:
Animal Crossing: City Folk (Will have chat and such)
Captain Rainbow (New Nintendo IP)
Kid Icarus Wii Game
And a few more things.
(I have connections, and some were secretly announced via the internet, so no worries).

Is there anything that E3 is actually going to present? I honestly don't know if I should care or not. Blizzard already announced Diablo 3 - what more could I want?

The things I look for at E3 are the strange and absurd. Things you wouldn't normally hear about in mainstream gaming and electronics media circles.
New graphics engines are always neat too.

This is one of those statements that sounds really profound for about 7 seconds, and then sounds as retarded as it is. Seriously.
Anyway, I don't really keep up with E3, nor do I intend to ever do so.

Nintendo's game line-up:
Animal Crossing: City Folk (Will have chat and such)
Captain Rainbow (New Nintendo IP)
Kid Icarus Wii Game
And a few more things.
All those games sound like:
1- Play with rainbows all day
2- Hide and seek for teens
3- Vegetables for everyone (learn how to love them)
eerrr Nintendo FTW!

eerrr Nintendo FTW!Eh, I already have a very nice cpu, so for some nice and smooth casual games, these seem pretty nice. There is also the game called Mirrors Edge, which is coming out for the other systems that looks pretty awesome. It's a parkour game that takes place in a post-modern world that isn't apocalyptic, but rather super clean and stuff.

That sounds fun, though nothing beats real parkour.
E3 is just not much fun anymore, and with it being so far away and all it's not even worth the trip.

I have to say this: Nintendo is a company full of fucking marketing geniuses. Last year, Kid Icarus was an old game that a few 20 year olds remembered. Now they introduced Pit to Brawl, BAM all of the kids now have a new idol to fap to. The exact same shit happened to Fire Emblem with Melee, Marth/Roy appear, BAM US gets fire emblem ports. You're advertising your products within your products, how could it get any fucking better?
Anyways E3 is shit, always has been. People are just now figuring this out. BTW, to the guy saying "omgz lewk at teh nintenGAY games theyer fore babies LOL", why don't you get yourself out of a thirteen year old's mindset and actually play games based on how fun they are, not based on how many felonies you can commit in a game or how awesomely sepia toned and gritty the graphics are.

I was paraphrasing Dwight Eisenhower. :P
Dubya wasn't the first president to make weird ass statements.
Well, the only good game I didn't know about that E3 brought to my attention is MadWorld for the Wii. It's a Sin City-esque graphic novel type game made by the people who brought you Okami. Which, halfway through the game, has become one of my favorite games of all time already.
Here's some screenies and shiz:

Other than that, all the games I'm looking forward to I'm sure you already know. (Spore, Street Fighter 4, Fable 2, Resident Evil 5, Gears of War 2, Final Fantasy 13, LittleBigPlanet, Animal Crossing Wii, Starcraft 2, Diablo 3)

Madworld does look interesting. It's good see that there are games being made for Wii that don't always fit the kiddie stereotype.
