This thread was made for and to discuss the greatest music, the Blues. Talk about it, tell of your favorite Bluesmen, new or old time, Delta to Chicago, or whatever floats your boat.

Also.
I was wonderin if any of yall know any good places to find Blues lyrics. Old stuff the likes of Robert Johnson, Son House, Charlie Patton, Sonny Boy Williamson etc.

In particular the lyrics to the song "It Won't Be Long" by Sam Collins.

Not much a fan of the original blues so much. I like 'white-boy' blues though.

Blues is the original emo music just replace razors with alcohol.

Rolling Stones makes some decent blues even if it's very rocky.

Haven't had a chance to check this thread, been in traveling abroad.

Thanks =D

Lynyrd Skynyrd had some good pure blues songs, such as "Bad Boy Blues (http://www.imeem.com/kikkin/music/d_EN4zoF/lynyrd_skynyrd_bad_boy_blues/)" and "Blues Medley (http://www.imeem.com/kikkinas/music/TZ8LyjOU/lynyrd_skynyrd_blues_medley/)" Perhaps along with a possible country career, Ronnie Van Zant could have also gone on to record the blues, if not for the horrible accident. :(

I also wonder what great things Robert Johnson could have done if not for his even death at an age even younger than Ronnie.
