I believe the SC2 forums almost hit a thousand pages of spam at one point. It gets spammed less each day, so I'm going to assume the same pattern will play out with the D3 forums.

nah they aren't down, sometimes it will tell you they are but that's because that's how it limits it's bandwidth

It's not like I'm holding my breath. :D
And what does your question have to do with mine?
And didn't your mom teach you it's not polite to answer a question with another question?
And... neah, that's it...

or their tech support, or their management, or the fact that it's owned by Activision or the fact that it's ruined every franchised game before it's even come out because they're clearly just poor clones of the originals, oh and also that they completely disregard anything the customers want.

Ok ok but if you look past that then its a great company!

I never knew Blizzard was owned by the french! thats pretty cool.

It is one of those cases where a company manages to capture loads of customers and milk them for money over many month or even years, in spite of the fact that nobody is satisfied..
How can you determine whether someone is willing to pay a certain amount of money for something, or not?

I don't see anything.

by asking them? It's that magical word 'conversation' that many big ass companies seem to forget these days.

just an fyi, the mods are only present during the day. Blizzard forums get spammed nightly. Then, the next day a mod shows up and cleans up the mess. I also don't think they are on during the weekends.

Well, in economic theory (as far as I can tell) the willingness of a person to pay a certain amount of money for a certain good is determined by whether or not he *does* pay for the good or not.
Consumers want to buy more for less - producers want to sell less for more; it seems fair enough that the balance is found at the point where enough people are willing to pay, to make it feasible to provide the good. *Shrugs*

EDIT: Dialog is good, but it doesn't always lead to viable answers. 100 people may hate a product without ever agreeing on what they want instead. Just thinking of the SCS vs SRS vs ARAC debates and the "pocket pony" debates on this server as one example.

They aren't really "owned" by Activision since Vivendi "merged" with Activision.
Really though, since that merge activision is the largest gaming company ever.
