Ok, so I was in this desert, was nothing but sand, was all flat.. The sky was dark, full of clouds. I remember it well, but there was still a sun out, and there is streaks of light across the clouds, and I see this big grey wall rise out from the ground.. After that, out of the ground as well, comes this this hooded cloak figure, And he said "There is three demons in your life, one is your guardian and two do not like what you are doing." And I replied "in my dream." "What is it that I am doing?" This cloak figured said.. "It is what you're going to do.. Then the wall goes back down into the ground along with the hooded figure. All of a sudden, I am in a snowy forest for some reason, And there are these two huge bug looking creatures, human-like, they had masks. Before I know it, one of them is yelling at me in some different language or something I didn't understand, I woke up shortly after. Wish I could have experienced more of this dream, cause it was fucking awesome, and it was the most real dream I have ever had, I remember it as big as light.

After a quick Google session and thumbing through some fortune cookiesque stuff:

Demons

To see demons in your dream, represents ignorance, negativity, distress or your shadow self. It also forewarns of overindulgence and letting lust give way to your better judgment. As a result, your physical and mental health may suffer.

To dream that you are possessed by demons, indicates ultimate helplessness.
Walls

To see a wall in your dream, signifies limitations. obstacles and boundaries. There is a barrier obstructing your progress. You may have been accustomed to your old habits and way of thinking.
Masks

To see others wearing a mask in your dream, denotes that you will battle against deceit, falsehood, and jealousy.

Feel free to connect the dots if you care. Unfortunately for me, I don't sleep deep enough to dream, or at least I have no memory of them at all.

Same.
It's shown that dreams are often a message from your subconscious.
However, every explanation of a dream needs to be specific to that person, there's no way in hell everyone's subconscious just "knows" when to show demons, masks and walls and does it picture perfect.

I also had the weirdest dream last night. I dreamed I was a kid called Harry. For simplicity's sake, I will tell you about my dream from a teller's perspective because it was really creepy. I included links as a reference to what I think it might mean. Here it is:

Upon arrival at Hogwarts , the Sorting Hat (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magical_objects_in_Harry_Potter#The_Sort ing_Hat) places Harry and Ron in Gryffindor House (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hogwarts_houses#Gryffindor), one of the four houses at Hogwarts. After a broom-mounted game to save Neville's Remembrall (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remembrall), Harry joins Gryffindor's Quidditch (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quidditch) team as their youngest Seeker (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quidditch#Players) player in over a century.
Shortly after they start school, they discover that someone had broken into the wizarding bank, Gringotts (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diagon_Alley#Gringotts_Wizarding_Bank). The mystery deepens when they discover a monstrous three-headed dog (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cerberus), Fluffy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rubeus_Hagrid#Fluffy), that guards a trapdoor in the forbidden third floor passageway. On Halloween (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halloween), a troll (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troll) enters the castle and traps Hermione in one of the girls' bathrooms. Harry and Ron rescue her, but are caught by Professor McGonagall. Hermione defends the boys and takes the blame, which results in the three becoming best friends.

Harry's broom becomes jinxed during his first Quidditch match, nearly knocking him off. Hermione believes that Professor Severus Snape (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Severus_Snape) has cursed the broom and distracts him by setting his robes on fire, allowing Harry to catch the Snitch (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magical_objects_in_Harry_Potter#Snitch) to win the game for Gryffindor.
At Christmas, Harry receives his father's Invisibility Cloak (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magical_objects_in_Harry_Potter#Invisibi lity_Cloak) by an unknown source. He also discovers the Mirror of Erised (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mirror_of_Erised) in an unused classroom, a strange mirror which shows not just Harry, but Harry surrounded by his entire family. Shortly thereafter, Harry gets to know that Nicolas Flamel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicolas_Flamel#In_popular_culture) is the maker of Philosopher's Stone (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magical_objects_in_Harry_Potter#The_Phil osopher.27s_Stone), a stone that gives the owner eternal life.[3] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Potter_and_the_Philosopher%27s_Sto ne#cite_note-2).
Harry sees Professor Snape interrogating Professor Quirrell about getting past Fluffy, which seemingly confirms Harry, Ron and Hermione's suspicion that Snape is trying to steal the Philosopher's Stone in order to restore Lord Voldemort to power. The trio discover that Hagrid is incubating a dragon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon) egg, which shortly thereafter hatches a Norwegian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norway) Ridgeback dragon, Norbert. Since dragon breeding is illegal, they convince Hagrid to let Norbert go live with other dragons of his kind. Harry and Hermione are caught returning to their dormitories after sending Norbert off (Ron was in the hospital wing after suffering a bite from the dragon) and are forced to serve detention with Hagrid in the Forbidden Forest (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hogwarts_layout#Forbidden_Forest). Harry sees a hooded figure drink the blood of an injured unicorn (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unicorn). Firenze (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firenze_%28Harry_Potter%29), a centaur (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centaur), tells Harry that the hooded figure is in fact Voldemort.

Harry, Hermione, and Ron soon discover that an intoxicated Hagrid told an unknown hooded stranger how to get past Fluffy. They rush to tell Dumbledore what they knew only to find that Dumbledore had been sent away from the school. Positive that Dumbledore's summons was a red herring (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_herring_%28plot_device%29) to take him away from Hogwarts while the Philosopher's Stone is stolen, the trio set out to reach the Stone first. They navigate a series of complex magical challenges set up by the school's faculty. At the end of these challenges, only one person can move forward and hence Harry enters the inner chamber alone only to find that it is the timid Professor Quirrell, not Snape, who is after the Stone. The final challenge protecting the Stone is the Mirror of Erised. Quirrell forces Harry to look in the mirror to discover where the Stone is. Harry successfully resists, and the stone drops into his own pocket. Lord Voldemort now reveals himself; he has possessed Quirrell and appears as a ghastly face on the back of Quirrell's head. He tries to attack Harry, but merely touching Harry proves to be agony for Quirrel. Dumbledore arrives back in time to save Harry, Voldemort flees and Quirrell dies.

Dumbledore confirms to Harry that Lily died while protecting Harry as an infant. Her pure, loving sacrifice provides Harry with an ancient magical protection against Voldemort's lethal spells. Dumbledore also explains that the Philosopher's Stone has been destroyed to prevent future attempts by Voldemort to steal it. He then tells Harry that only those who wanted the Stone to protect it but not use it would be able to retrieve it from the mirror, which is why Harry was able to retrieve it. When Harry asks Dumbledore why Voldemort attempted to kill him when he was an infant, Dumbledore promises to tell Harry when he is older.[4] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Potter_and_the_Philosopher%27s_Sto ne#cite_note-3)
At the end-of-year feast, where Harry is welcomed as a hero, Dumbledore gives a few "last-minute additions," granting points to Harry, Ron, Hermione and Neville, so that Gryffindor wins the House Cup, ending Slytherin's six-year reign as house champions.

Actually dreams have no meaning at all. Pyschological fact.

It is why abstract dreams can't truly be interpreted.

Yep, i second this.

If i dream I'm a bad cop doesn't mean my subconscious wants me to be nicer the day after, its because I watched a movie just before going off to sleep.

I don't really disagree with you.. but it is hard to miss the satirical effect of seeing a picture of you in the buff, throwing a Dr.Evil pose in front of a mirror right above your post. Sorry...

I had a strange dream last night too. I was in this medevil times type tournment only instead of knights we were vikings in little ships, and some how it went from that to banging Shay Laren in a public bathroom.

Everything in between was kinda fuzzy, but it ended well :D

Yeah, dreams are meaningless. They may potentially reveal your fears or feelings towards something or someone a little more clearly by your mind's focus upon them, but even that isn't entirely reliable.

Not completely true.. So what you are saying is that those dreams you've been having haven't been influenced by your fears and desires.... All those gay, wet, slimy dreams didn't make you realize that you were at least Bisexual if not a homosexual?!? Dreams may not have a symbolic meaning, but they can have an emotional meaning in interpretation.

To keep it on topic, I usually dream once a night, and I think I'm losing sleep because of it... I haven't had a night in months where I haven't woken up in the middle of a dream..

And also
This is completely irrelevant to the thread
But when I was 13, 7 years ago, I played Dark Ages of Camelot (this was my rangers name, even though I sucked at ranger; and I usually played a healer/druid)

I had a really scary dream two nights ago.

I dreamt my car was stolen. You know how not all keys are different? Yea, it was because of that.

Ok, so while it may not be scary for the rest of you, this is the first dream I've actually remembered in years.

I'm not 100% sure, so don't quote me, but i thought REM sleep was the sleep you get at the beginning and the end of your sleep cycle, the lightest parts of your sleep, and that is when your dreams happen.

I think the dreams you get when you're first asleep, the lightest parts of your sleep, is what keeps you asleep.. I sleep like a log for at 9 or 10 hours a day...
