Need a new show!

What are good TV series' to follow nowdays? I was really into The Sopranos, X-Files, Millenium and such. Dexter wasn't too bad either, just too slow. Entourage is awesome too. I enjoy mainly crime shows with some intelligence and twists, but not only, Entourage being an example. Any ideas?

It's not airing anymore but Arrested Development is a great series. And it's a bit late but BSG was an amazing series that I'd recommend for anyone.

I won't be watching Lost. It's a type of a show I'd have to start watching from the first episode, since they all are WAYYYY too indepth and twisty to miss on few episodes. Arrested Development is funny, but for me is too cheesy and not worthy devoted attention. I might check out Firefly since I remember it was rather interesting. Never got into Battlestar Galactica, don't know why :/ Might check out Deadwood too and maybe Weeds.

Stargate Atlantis and Burn Notice is coming out in the next few weeks. Burn Notice is probably my favorite TV series of all time. Stargate Atlantis in my opinion is one of the best sci-fi series out there as well. Way better than SG-1 imho.

Six Feet Under and Carnivale were pretty great, if you've got Netflix. Otherwise renting dozens of DVDs might be cost-prohibitive.

Re: Grey's Anatomy and the music they play each episode... I agree, great stuff. You can catch a lot of that "indie" (read: recently signed but still fresh) stuff early in the AM on VH1 during weekdays.

EDIT: You may or may not also get a kick out of Jericho.

I say go and watch Firefly, then go ahead and watch Chuck, that T.V shows pretty good and they're going to be releasing a new season sometime this September I believe, holy fuck what is with all the great stuff coming this September I can't stand it!

p.s. T.V sucks because 90% of it is adverts I recommend either buying the dvds or just downloading the episodes, you've pretty much already paid for the shows technically by buying a t.v license.
