Ok I am a huge heroes fan but my question to you people if you could have any power but only one (you can't have peter's power) what would it be?

To get this show on the road I would have Muscle Memory the power to do anything I see!

You forgot to say "not sylar." If everyone and their mother had super powers (which seems to be the case in Heroes) I'd pick sylar.

No that one was from Painkiller Jane, although I'm sure it's gonne be somewhere in the next season of Heroes.

From the heroes set I would either go with the regeneration power or telekenises. Probably telekenises since that would probably allow me to do the atom thing making me able to kick he shit out of everyone else on that show and laughing while doing so.

The creators have said that Sylar eats the brains to absorbs the material that gives them the powers. All of their abilities lie in the brain. That's why Peter, Adam and Clair can only be killed by destroying the brain.

And the regeneration ability that Adam, Clair and Peter share is the power I would pick if I could not have Peter's empathic ability because the regeneration allows them to cease aging once they reach full maturity and immortality allows you to do so much more than any of the other abilities, even Hiro's because he still has just the one life time.

That all said. The writing of the show is pretty shallow. With just the abilities Peter has absorbed so far he should be able to solve any issue with little trouble. But as long as they keep having him make horrible decisions and keep having hot chicks on the show I think it can work out. But they seriously need to have some better fights between heroes. Most of the fights suck. The Season 1 end fight was built up so much I was pissed when it was less exciting than the future fight between Peter and Sylar even though we didn't see that fight our imaginations made it better than the crap we got for the final.
