They replaced it with some kind of bounty hunter system, aparently but ive never understood how this works. Its realy bad according to my freinds.

In a small arena called Bounty Hunter that has no multiattacking, yet a number of people can still attack you at the same time (including when you're fighting someone else, effectively forcing you to fight them or run out of the arena) because you're their "bounty hunter target" assigned to them when they went in.

If you do manage to kill someone and loot their pile you can't leave or log out for 3 minutes, so if you're low on food and pots after a kill you better be prepared to give up your loot and don't pick anything up as someone will be around to kill you in the 180 second it takes for you to be able to leave if you do.

Or eventually, you can fight at the no-risk, linear, boring and repetitive Clan Wars arena which is the only place clans can fight each other in a multi-zone. Caps at 100 on each side, no spectators except in "viewing orbs". At least the enormously messy wars and run-ins I used to participate in was fun.

As a clan, you can easily go pk in bounty hunter and own the whole server for couple hours untill other clans come to crash your pk trip. Also they added Orbs in the area so you can check other spots of the map.

This update killed RS for me, even thought I wasnt playing a lot anyway since awhile. I missed the old days in the wilderness with huge fucking war with over 500 ppl. Now its kinda shitty. Not to mention that they added a GvG system wich suck since you can't loot shit... So yeah they turned the pking into mini-games ala WoW.

If you give it sometime Runescape is an amazing game, if you don't you will only see his flaws and then it won't worth the try. Early days of the game were the best now they control the economy and screwed the dueling and pking.

It was a decent game before 2008.

I use to enjoy Armadyling to make shit loads of cash. But it was the wilderness that kept me there, I had the perfect account for edgeville and deep wild PKing. A maxed tank. Ever since the update that crippled runescape I haven't bothered to play much, since seriously, who likes wasting months grinding on a boring game.

Calling a game suck without testing overall features (PVP?), is stupid like a carebear Kids.


Runescape was massive hardcore full-looting clan warface for supremacy, until 1000 VS 1000. But PVP zoned okay.

Runescape system is making for involved victim in PVP zone, if they want train their skills or making more cash. Its always fun to hunt noob victim with cool gear, like oldshool UO.

Okay graphic suck a lot, but who care about pixel? WOW fan?

Aslo its a sandbox game, and no instance... Hu wait... what?

Silkroad and Maplestory alone offer more tedious and longer grindfests. Having played both I can tell you Silkroad doesn't know the meaning of quest xp and Maplestory is a pure 2D button-masher. You literally kill 1000's of mobs over and over in a small space to gain levels most of the time.

Runescape is a grindfest yes,but it's not a tedious one and you're allowed to mix things up.

Runescape's main problem is the immature community. If you can overlook the graphics and stuff,it's not half-bad.
The only problem is that they're removing the decent PvP elements (wilderness) now,so methinks Runescape is finally becoming the 'shit' everyone thinks it is.

Kids being kids is one thing,and you'll find some children are more mature than others.
But when you hear profanities,racial slurs and stuff every few minutes,you start to wonder oh you really do....

The Internet's collection of F2P's has given some kids great anonymity to be douchebags imo.
