The video linked above is an older chaplain discussing his experience with the Oil Barons and how they manipulate the government and Control the world heh.
I watched the entire video and yes, he does have some valid points. Although it looks like he is making the speech in an old folks home where he is probably living...
I want some feedback on what people thing about this and whether there is truth behind it.

from what I understand, although there is a substantial ammount of oil in alaska (and other places like the gulf coast and colorado) they havent proven the amount of oil in alaska.. saudi arabia has a crap load of "proven" oil reserves which gives them the power they have
as far as what i tthink we should do in alaska:
drill the bitch

When Saudi Arabia runs out of oil in 100 years, USA will start drilling Alaska and Gulf of Mexico, selling the last of the oil for $500 a barrel.
American Oil companies aren't stupid, they are just planning ahead.

ok i watched the whole thing. I would say the 30-45 min mark and the last 15 min are about all you really need to see and the most important.
From there you can do ones own research on what he has to say.

There isnt that much oil in ANWR so drilling it for 6 months supply and possible destroying the last untouched land on this whole planet just does not seem worth it to me. The answer isnt drilling more wells and raping this planet for all its natural resources. It is to lower our dependancies on oil.
It might be possible that the oil companies like everything to hinge on one fuel. They are making a killing and the average person has to give up things they love just to drive to work.
